Normal guy looking to meet new people m4w
It seems like many of my friends have moved into the marriage/family phase of their lives lately. I couldn't be happier for them, however it definitely means that they have far less time to hang out than they used to. That said, I'm looking for interesting people to expand my social circle with. Now the details...
Me:
- 28 year old professional male working a standard 9-6 job during the week
- Single and not looking for dating/relationships at this time
- Friendly, normal, outgoing person looking to meet the same to enjoy random OC outings such as kayaking Newport Back Bay, happy hours/drinks/dinners, hiking, movies, beach, etc. etc.
- Intelligent, educated, and well-rounded. I work in the technology industry and enjoy traveling the world when I can.
You:
- Relatively the same age as me
- Single and not looking for dating/relationships
- Non drug user/smoker...drinking is OK because I do that too
- Witty and intelligent. You enjoy senseless (and hilarious, I might add) humor found in movies like The Hangover, but can easily migrate into a conversation about complex social issues or the latest technology and how it's going to impact peoples' lives. If your idea of a great conversation is recapping your past weekend at Sharkeez or talking about who's currently dating Justin Timberlake, please move on from this ad.
- Enjoy living just outside your comfort zone by pushing yourself to do things you don't usually do, or things you thought you might not be capable of
The FAQ:
- Q: Why are you looking for a female if you don't want to date anyone?
- A: I'm recently single coming away from a long term relationship. I'd like to enjoy some time on my own and not be burdened with the complexities of a relationship. I've always gotten along better with girls, so I figured I'd post here to start.
- Q: No, but really, why are you looking for a female if you don't want to date anyone?
- A: See first FAQ answer.
- Q: Are you one of those Craigslist people who seems normal but then turns out to be a total psycho when I finally meet you?
- A: No...are you? If so, please don't reply to my ad...I'm trying to avoid you.
- Q: I have a boyfriend, can we still be friends?
- A: I suppose as long as your boyfriend knows you're hanging out with a guy he's never met and doesn't want to come beat me up with a lead pipe, then we're cool. Though to be honest I'd prefer people who aren't involved with anyone at the moment since we'll have more in common.
If you think you might want to email back and forth a bit and then maybe meet at some point, feel free to drop me a line. Photos welcome, but completely optional.
