Rocket scientist seeks energy dense (but stable) fuel...
Imagine. . .
We work hard, enjoy our jobs and are successful at what we do. We can afford to play hard, enjoy life, and plan for the future. I'm on my way home from work and I stop at the grocery store. I you with potential ideas for dinner and we decide on what sounds good for tonight. I get home, feed the dog, and start preparing the fresh food. You then get home and the dog and I run over to the door to greet you hello with hugs and kisses. We start talking about our days while you join me in preparing and cooking the food. We open a nice bottle of wine or craft beer and continue chatting with music in the background as we sit down to eat dinner together.
After eating, we continue talking and listening to music while doing the dishes and sipping our glass. Then we sit down, relax and cuddle while watching our favorite show or the new movie that we've been waiting to come out on dvd, play some game(s) that we both enjoy, or just get the day-to-day responsibilities done. After the post dinner activities, we take a shower together, brush our teeth, and begin the late night bedroom activities. ;) I then give you a massage because you're the love of my life, after which we cuddle and fall asleep in each others arms. In the morning we see each other off as the new day begins. We think about each other throughout the day, maybe send some texts here and there, and can't wait to get home to spend more time with each other. We both have our own interests too and have no problem with each other pursuing these.
On the weekends we go out to new restaurants we haven't been to, take walks in our favorite park (with our dog), listen to live music, go to the Japanese gardens, take a trip to the coast, see the new exhibit at OMSI or feature at IMAX (or both), go to the Saturday/farmers market, find a nice trail to hike, make our own beer or wine, see a live sporting event/performance, or just hang around the house, relaxing, and getting 'non work' responsibilities done. Every year we plan what we want to do with a large portion of our vacation time and go on trips and adventures together. They could be in Oregon, out of state or another country.
Is there not anyone out there that finds this appealing?
I love nature and all sorts of physical activities. I've played and become very good at just about every sport there is. I like to go camping in the middle of a mountain range at least 3 times a summer. I like to ski in the winter and go on day hikes in the spring. I'm a great cook. I'm a scientist, an engineer, a hooligan, a nature loving hippy, and a jock. Strange combo? (I'm not really a hooligan anymore in case you're wondering ;) ) I've climbed a ft mountain and have been to shows on Broadway. I've ridden waves in Mexico that traveled from the beach out to the middle of the ocean. Hard to imagine? Ask and I'll tell. I've been married to someone I wasn't in love with and in love with someone who wouldn't marry me. Isn't life ironic? I've experienced a lot in my 30 years and have a unique perspective on the world. I'm looking for an amazing person to build an amazing relationship with and eventually share my life with. Pleasure, pain and everything in between.
I won't demand a picture in your first reply. Physical attraction is very important but it's only one of many things necessary for a successful relationship.
