The "Not So Average" guy next door...
I've tried posting here a few times, but haven't found "her" yet. I'm best described as an open-minded, easy going, guy next door type. Those who know me best would describe me as anything BUT shy, but when meeting new people, it sometimes takes me a bit of time to break the ice. I've never been the kind of guy to speak just to hear myself talk: I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. I strive to be completely honest all the time, but always maintain a certain level of tact and compassion. I've been told I have a great sense of humor, but it definitely has a bit of a sarcastic/playful twist. I rarely take myself too seriously, and will do anything for the people I care about. I enjoy spending time outside when the weather is nice...and never shy away from a random road-trip. I recently started running again at the gym, and plan on running several 5k's this summer. My iPod has a little bit of everything from ABBA to ZZ Top. I'm also a movie buff with a DVD collection that puts Blockbuster's to shame.
After ten years in the IT field, I decided to go back to school for nursing. My education is a HUGE undertaking for me right now, and honestly, the next 20 months will be crazy, but in the end I know it will be worth it. Although I don't always have a lot of free time on my hands, I am very creative when it comes to making time for someone special.
